Extensions Workshop at FOSDEM

We are trying to organise an extensions workshop this year. The primary goal is for developers to get their existing extensions to be compatible with Firefox 3, but new extensions and ones for other Mozilla software are welcome.

More information, and to sign up, see:
http://wiki.mozilla.org/Fosdem:2008:Workshop

It is important to state your preference for when you would like it to happen. We might book some hotel facilities to have it on Friday afternoon, but if not enough people arrive by that time it might make more sense to have it in the dev room during sessions on Saturday and/or Sunday.

How long has this been in the works? I ask because I booked my travel last week; if I’d known this was coming, I could have arrived earlier on Friday. But my tickets are non-refundable, so I’d need to buy new ones.

Gerv : Not long before you asked. I only saw your comment now. For now the the session is scheduled for the DevRoom on Sunday morning. We’re still working on the final details, I will keep you informed.
