Upcoming Speaking Engagements

Over the next few months, I’ll be on my travels a bit and speaking at the following events:

Fosdem

FOSDEM is the annual Free and Open Source Developer’s European Meeting, to give it the full title glory. It’s on 25/26 February in Brussels. The last time I was there was 2003, and I’m lookign forward to going back. Every year Mozilla developers have their own room and this year is no different. I’ll write more on this soon.

In April there is the 4th Annual Desktop Linux Summit in San Diego.

DLS 2006

It’s a low-cost entrance conference, making it more open to everyone, and no doubt there will be some great technology on display and good talks to go along with it. Linspire’s CEO Kevin Carmony has written today about it, giving some background to the original idea behind the show, what to expect, and trying to calm people’s concerns that it is not a vendor biased event.

If you can make it along to either event, get in touch and we can have a natter over some Belgian beer and chocolate, or some San Diego, er, … what is San Diego well known for? I’ve never been futher south than L.A. in California.
